Palatine American Legion to host casino night

The Palatine American Legion Post 690 is hosting a casino night Friday, June 5, at the American Legion Hall, 122 W. Palatine Road.

Poker, blackjack and other games of chance will be played from 6 p.m. until midnight.

"Our goal is to make these friendly neighborhood games," said Matt Christie, casino night project chairman. "We encourage camaraderie between the players as well as with their dealers."

Entry will be $5. The proceeds go to fund the American Legion's projects, including their annual Memorial Day parade and services.
