Davenport police investigating man's death as homicide

DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Police say they are investigating the death of a 32-year-old man from Davenport as a homicide.

Authorities say a roommate of Justin Jovan McBride called police over the weekend after finding him unconscious at his residence. When officers arrived, they say they found McBride with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Police haven't released any information from an autopsy conducted on Monday. Anyone with information regarding McBride's death is asked to call Davenport police.
