Gurnee police seek help finding pepper spray suspect

Gurnee police are seeking a suspect accused of spraying a chemical irritant, possibly pepper spray, Monday night at Walmart in Gurnee, officials said.

Police reviewed video that showed a black woman raising her arm in a motion similar to how one might spray a chemical, according to a news release. The woman was wearing a white top, pink pants and white athletic shoes; she had two young male children with her. The woman left with the two children in a dark vehicle, the release said.

Several people were treated at the scene for symptoms usually associated with pepper spray, police said.
