Chelsea Clinton bringing new book to Naperville
Chelsea Clinton will be in downtown Naperville next month to promote her new book for middle graders called "It's Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going" and to challenge young readers to make a difference.
Fans can meet Clinton at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave. Priority numbers to reserve a spot in the signing line are available with the purchase of the book from Anderson's or online at andersonsbookshop.com.
Clinton's book breaks down some of the world's biggest challenges and shares inspiring stories of young people who are making an impact in their own communities and around the globe.
She combines facts, charts, photographs and stories to give readers an understanding of the world around them - and how anyone can make a difference. The book is designed to inspire readers of all ages to do their part to make the world a better place.
Born into a political family, Clinton is vice chairwoman of the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation where she helps lead the work of the Foundation on initiatives that focus on work related to health, women and girls; creating service opportunities; and empowering the next generation of leaders.
Clinton holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and advanced degrees from Columbia University and Oxford University. She lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
