Believe Project: $100 for big brother who can't work but needs medication

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Heather Thadikaran of Arlington Heights.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

“If I had an extra $100 I'd give it to my big brother. He has a hard time with his seizure disorder and problems from his broken back. He isn't able to work. He is on a very limited income with disability, but it isn't enough to pay his bills and buy his medications. He has to borrow money every month to buy his medicine and then pays it back when he gets paid. He is always helping everybody out from fixing their cars, mowing lawns to fixing a furnace. I wish I could help him like he does for us.”

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
