Danielle Hull Qualifies for Worlds in Baton Twirling

Danielle Hull is a 10 year old fifth grader from Naperville, Illinois and has been twirling for 3 1/2 years. From the moment she set her eyes on baton twirling, she fell in love with the sport. In 2011, at Danielle's very first national baton competition, she saw one of her coaches qualify for the National Baton Twirling Association World Championships. After finding out that the next World Championships would be held in Italy in 2015, Danielle said, "I've got to go to Worlds!" For the next 3 years, she practiced hard and achieved some titles along the way including; 2013 Juvenile Grand National Twirling Champion (one of the most prestigious titles a twirler can receive at a national competition), 2013 Juvenile Strutoff Champion and 2014 Juvenile Twirl off Champion. At this year's AYOP competition, Danielle's dream came true and she qualified to go to the NBTA World Championships in Italy to represent the USA in Juvenile Rhythmic. After winning, Danielle exclaimed, "Thank God! I'm going to Worlds!" She has learned that hard work truly pays off! Danielle feels very privileged to represent the USA as part of the 2015 Team. She thanks her Silver Knights team for their encouragement and her coaches Jo Ann Britton, Meganne Britton Trela, and Melissa Cox for their time and support. The competition will be held in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy April 1 - April 5, 2015.
