University of Tulsa signs Texas high school quarterback

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The University of Tulsa has announced the signing of a high school quarterback from Texas.

TU football coach Philip Montgomery says Chad President has signed with the Golden Hurricane and will begin classes Jan. 12 and be eligible to take part in spring practice.

President threw for 2,391 yards and 23 touchdowns and ran for 878 yards and six touchdowns as a senior at Temple High School.
