Improvements coming to Millennium Park in Elgin

Work soon will begin on improvements to Millennium Park on Elgin’s west side.

The project involves constructing and installing new paths, gardens, outdoor exercise equipment, a half-basketball court and playground equipment.

Partial funding for the project is supported through an Illinois Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Grant in the amount of $338,000.

The work is expected to be completed early this summer.

Millennium Park, 725 Red Barn Lane, serves the Woodbridge North and Columbine subdivisions.
