Tollway opens again at 4:15 p.m. after rollover
Two lanes of westbound Interstate 90 in Elgin were shut down after a vehicle rolled over Monday afternoon, state police said, but the roadway was opened within 20 minutes.
A tweet from the Illinois State Police said all lanes had reopened shortly after 4:15 p.m.
Only minor injuries were reported from the accident that took place at about 3:54 p.m. between Routes 25 and 31, Illinois State Police Sgt. Al Wsol said.
Any delays on eastbound I-90 in that area were due to the combination of gapers' blocks, construction and the rain, he said.
