Spending injustices are hurting Americans

Mr. Noll in Naperville, your contribution to the view inspired me to cheer and extend your comments to the minds of those who are looking for justice in this country (“Why do we continue with foreign aid?” Dec. 14). Justice to all seems to be eroding rapidly. We are being pushed in wrong directions. Our collective money going to foreign countries that hate us, and the gross salaries that are being paid to “our boys” in Washington, is disgusting. Now just guess who pays for all of the waste. Well you guessed it — John Q. Public.

We just can’t sit by and ignore all of the waste. We have more, much more, than plenty of places here in good ol’ USA to help our own people. We have fewer jobs, higher taxes, less income for those citizens fortunate enough to have a job and a dirty window looking toward Washington, D.C. Hurray for the rich and to heck with the poor, and just what is middle class? We so urgently need by way of unbiased and fair-thinking editorialists a chance to be educated. That’s what I’d like to see in all of our stockings.
