Making winning everything

In her March 14 column, Debra J. Saunders admires Mitch McConnell because he supports Trump for president. She acknowledges McConnell's blame of Trump for provoking Jan. 6. She knows that Trump cheated on his pregnant wife. She knows Trump would not testify on his own behalf in the Carroll abuse case! She knows Trump kept sensitive government documents in a Mara Lago bathroom. She knows that Trump's road to wealth was financed by creditors he avoided through serial bankruptcies. She knows Trump took the Fifth Amendment hundreds of times to avoid incriminating himself. Yet she expresses admiration for McConnell because he supports his party’s best chance to win, Donald Trump.
