Aurora man charged with attempted murder
A 17-year-old Aurora resident has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident on Nov. 25 in Aurora, according to online Kane County court records.
Jordy Arreola appeared Thursday before Associate Judge Mark Pheanis.
Arreola, of the 600 block of North Avenue, is also charged with attempted armed robbery.
He is being held in the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center due to his age.

Charging documents, including a synopsis of the crime, were not available Thursday as county offices were closed for the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend.
