State announces results of liquor sales checks:

State officials announced Friday that two Lake Zurich businesses and one in Deer Park failed underage liquor sales compliance checks. On Feb. 25, the Illinois Liquor Control Commission, in conjunction with Illinois State Police District 2, conducted 16 underage compliance checks. Authorities said those that failed were: Tobacco Outlet, 20446 Rand Road, Deer Park; Bucky's Express, 630 S. Rand Road, Lake Zurich; and Bobber's Bar and Grill, 710 N. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich. Officials said the undercover underage participants who worked with police and the state liquor control commission were recruited from area high schools and colleges.
