Art display proposed

An art display featuring the work of military veterans has been proposed for the Lake County government center in downtown Waukegan. The display would be called "Those Who Serve," and it would run from Sept. 11 to Nov. 11. The Lake County veterans assistant commission and the Waukegan Arts Council are behind the effort. The county board's financial and administrative committee will review the proposal when it meets at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the county building.
