Expressions Show Choir wins at Indiana invitational

Buffalo Grove High School's award-winning Expressions Show Choir captured the Grand Championship title at the Chesterton High School Trojan Classic Show Choir Invitational last month in Chesterton, Ind., where the group also claimed Best Vocals, Best Choreography and Best Band honors.

The Expressions look forward to the Wheaton-Warrenville South Competition Saturday, March 14, and the Show Choir Nationals at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., March 26-28.

The Expressions is a mixed show choir made up of 41 singer-dancers, 16 band members and five crew members, directed by Debora Utley and choreographed by Randy Sage. Bryan Itzkowitz is the band director.
