214@100: The RMHS Summer Success Academy

In 2013, Rolling Meadows High School teachers launched the Summer Success Academy to help students transition from middle to high school and equip them for successful lifelong learning. More than 100 students and parents participated in the first session, collaboratively learning organizational skills, study tips and communication strategies on the heels of evidence that at-risk freshmen wanted to learn, but in some cases lacked the skills to do it.
