Walker scheduled to give speech in Washington

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Republican Gov. Scott Walker's travel schedule is picking up as eyes a possible run for president.

Walker was slated to give the keynote address at the Republican National Committee annual winter meeting Thursday night in San Diego, California. On Jan. 24 he and other potential GOP presidential candidates are attending a conservative summit in Iowa.

And on Jan. 30 Walker is scheduled to give a speech at a conservative think tank that focuses on the economy in Washington, D.C.

The American Action Forum describes itself as a "center-right policy institute providing actionable research and analysis to solve America's most pressing policy challenges."

An invitation to the speech says the lecture series "provides an opportunity for leading policymakers and thought leaders to discuss solutions to pressing national policy problems."
