Police report 2 dead in Indianapolis shooting

INDIANPOLIS (AP) - A shooting on Indianapolis' east side has left two people dead and another injured.

Indianapolis police say officers were called to the area on reports of shots fired late Tuesday. When they arrived on the scene three victims were found.

Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The extent of the third victim's injuries was not immediately known.

Police haven't identified the victims, nor have they indicated what may have led to the shooting.
