Palatine Urgent and Family Care Clinic Hosts Grand Opening Monday
A brand new urgent and medical care facility is opening its doors on Monday, March 9 in northeast Palatine.
EPIC Urgent and Family Care will have two medical doctors and a family nurse practitioner among its staff, which will be fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati and Swahili.
The clinic will provide family care and emergency services Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
"EPIC Urgent and Family Care is available for non-life threatening medical conditions as well as family care; our clinic can save time because no appointment is necessary, as well as money when considering the cost of an emergency room visit," said Dr. Thakkar.
Medical professionals at the location can treat the following:
Cuts, lacerations and minor burns
Cough, cold, asthma and pneumonia
Sprains, strains and broken bones
Ear, nose and throat infections
Fever or flu-like illnesses
Rashes and other skin problems
School, sport and work physicals
Vaccinations, and a wide array of other services which can be found on their website at https://www.epichealthsystems.com/
The clinic also provides an on-site digital X-ray, on-site laboratory, EKG and pharmacy services.
A number of special offers are currently available to celebrate the grand opening, including a limited quantity of free first aid kits starting March 10 (while supplies last), free diabetes screenings between March 23 through March 29, and free blood pressure screenings between April 6 and April 12.
