Medical marijuana presentation

Lincolnshire Police Department will host a presentation on medical marijuana at the Vernon Area Public Library, 300 Olde Half Day Road, on May 14, at 7 p.m. This free presentation will provide the general public with information on the new Illinois Compassionate Care Act, also known as the Illinois Medical Marijuana Law. The presentation will cover the history of marijuana, important information pertaining to the law, and the effects of medical marijuana in other states.
