Authorities: Cyclist dies after crash in Washtenaw County

PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a male cyclist has died after being hit by a car in Washtenaw County.

The Ann Arbor News reports (http://bit.ly/1G7YbIQ ) an ambulance responded Friday morning in Pittsfield Township and took the rider to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The person's name and age weren't immediately released. Police are investigating.
