Public Meet & Greet with new Arlington Heights Village Manager

A public Meet & Greet event with new Arlington Heights Village Manager Randy Recklaus will be held on Wednesday, November 12 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room, located on the third floor of Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road. Mr. Recklaus will begin his role as Village Manager on Monday, November 10.

Mr. Recklaus was named the Village Manager of Arlington Heights in early September. He has served as Village Manager of Clarendon Hills since February 2011 and before that was Assistant City Administrator for the City of Batavia from 2000 to 2011. He also previously worked for the City of St. Charles from 1997-1999 as Service Efforts and Accomplishments Program Coordinator, and served as an elected official on the DeKalb County Board from 1994-1997.

His vast experience in all aspects of municipal management provides a strong foundation as Arlington Heights' fifth Village Manager in the 60 years of the Village's Council-Manager form of government. In his years as a municipal leader, Randy has many accomplishments in the areas of fiscal responsibility, intergovernmental cooperation, economic development, human resources management, municipal-process improvement, communications and public outreach.
