High winds help spread fire to multiple buildings in Lake Villa Tuesday

High winds Tuesday helped a three-alarm fire at residence on the 39300 block of North Cedar Crest Drive in Lake Villa spread to multiple structures.

Fire officials have yet to release any details about the blaze that was first reported just after noon except to say that multiple structures were damaged.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

Firefighters were on the scene of the fire for more than three hours.
