LHS hosts breakfast for military families

As part of the celebration of Libertyville High School's Military Appreciation Month, the school invited its school families with an immediate family member who is actively serving in the military to enjoy a Military Family Appreciation Breakfast on Nov. 8.

Staff members who are military veterans also attended the event. During the breakfast, the families shared stories about their family and their military connections and enjoyed table activities.

In addition to the breakfast, a Veteran Wall of Honor was on display at the school that all week. The wall, coordinated by the LHS Social Studies Department, recognized U.S. armed services veterans who are related to LHS students, staff and community members. Their photos and stories were on display near the school's main entrance.
