Batavia Park District hosts second Wacky Water Olympics

If you want to go wacky in the water, join in on the friendly competition at the "Wacky Water Olympics" from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Harold Hall Quarry Beach, 400 S. Water St. in Batavia.

Compete in sponge relay races, cannon ball contests, liquid limbo and more for a chance to win prizes. Make the most of the rest periods between swim times all afternoon.

"Wacky Water Olympics" is included in the daily admission fee, which is $8 for residents and $11 for nonresidents. Individuals also may enter with their Quarry season passes. There is also a "Buy One, Get One" daily admission coupon available in the summer fun guide.

Be sure to save the date for two more special events at the Quarry this summer: Beach Ball Bonanza on July 20 and Rock the Quarry concert Aug. 11.

The "Wacky Water Olympics" is presented in cooperation with Epic Air Trampoline Park and Batavia Parcel and sponsored by McAlister's Deli, Chiro One Wellness Centers and Legoland Discovery Center.
