Wauconda area recycling event

Wauconda Township will host a free recycling collection from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 6, at its facility, 505 W. Bonner Road. Electronics, cellphones, bicycles, batteries, propane tanks, prescription drugs, oil, antifreeze, shoes, eye glasses, hearing aids, used American flags, light bulbs, medical needles, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, VHS and floppy disks and Styrofoam are among the accepted items.
