Jung, Ripes lead a Vernon Hills win

Vernon Hills' girls golf team got low numbers from Faith Jung (36) and Ally Ripes (38) at Vernon Hills Golf Course on Tuesday in victory against Antioch.

The Cougars, who also counted a 40 from Sammi Hansen, finished at 160, while the Sequoits came in at 203.

Samantha Brown provided Antioch's low score, a 47.

Stevenson d. Mundelein: At Countryside with a par of 37, Myra Peterson led the Patriots to a 174-195 win over Mundelein with a 38. Alexia Fidman followed with a 41. Mundelein's best finisher was Isabella Loverde with a 47.

Warren d. Lake Zurich: Kelsey Campbell finished with a 38 as Warren got a 180-208 win over Lake Zurich. Kelsey Kee and Alex Leitl were Lake Zurich's top finishers. Each had a 48.
