Williamson leads Vernon Hills' victories

Boys cross country

Sweeping the top seven places, Vernon Hills' boys cross country team got wins over Antioch (15-50) and host Wauconda (15-50) on Monday.

Shane Williamson of Vernon Hills placed first with a 16:49 while teammate Caleb Ju took second (17:44).

Kevin Vettese was Antioch's top finisher with an 18:10.
