Man charged in northern Michigan shooting of 2 brothers

PULAWSKI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Prosecutors have charged a northern Lower Peninsula man in the fatal shootings of two men.

Sixty-three-year-old Richard Strzelecki of Posen was arraigned Friday on two counts of first-degree murder, home invasion and other charges in Presque Isle County district court. He's been ordered held without bond in connection with the Thursday slayings of 60-year-old Eugene Hincka and 48-year-old Henry Hincka.

The Associated Press left a message for defense attorney Travis Groat.

The circumstances of the killings are under investigation.

The shootings took place at the home of the brothers in Pulawski Township, located about 100 miles east-northeast of Traverse City.
