Dianne Lopez Lystlund Honored with 2015 Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award

The Illinois CPA Society will honor Dianne Lopez Lystlund, CPA, Manager, Allstate Insurance Company, with the Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award for her commitment to fostering a more inclusive and diverse accounting community and her role in promoting diversity in both her professional and personal endeavors. Ms. Lystlund will be recognized on Wednesday, June 10 at the Leadership Recognition Dinner, hosted by the Illinois CPA Society.

For more than 20 years, Lystlund has been actively involved with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and currently serves on the Chicago chapter's executive board as chapter president. The mission of ALPFA is to empower and develop Latinos as leaders of character for the nation in every sector of the American and global market.

Ms. Lystlund is a builder of strategic networks and partnerships within professional organizations including the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). She actively participates in the Coalition of Latino Employee Organizations (CLEO), representing more than 30 Chicago area corporations. She co-founded Allstate's first employee resource group, Professional Latino Allstate Network (PLAN).

She is a first-generation Puerto Rican from Waukegan, Illinois and currently lives in Antioch.
