Divorced parents should heed column

Thank you so much for Connie Schultz's insightful article, "Let's give kids a holiday from divorce."

My parents divorced 1968 and we children were compelled to try to establish "fair" holiday schedules until the day my father died in 2014.

Unfortunately, this behavior, as the author predicted, has been repeated by some of my family members and their own children, leaving generations of children with less than optimal holiday memories.

I hope parents everywhere read this article and take it to heart.
