Join in Algonquin's Holiday Rock on the Fox Saturday

Algonquin's Holiday Rock on the Fox will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Riverfront Park, 201 N. Harrison St., Algonquin.

Santa will arrive at 5:30 p.m. with the tree lighting at 5:45 p.m. It will be followed by a Candy Cane Hunt from 6 to 6:15 p.m.

From 6 to 7 p.m., check out the ice carving demonstration or listen to the carols by Neubert Elementary School students. New this year will be live reindeer from 6 to 7 p.m.

You also can stop by for a Photo with Santa with a professional photographer, hot drinks from Wicked Chocolates, "Stories with Jingle Elf," or the Boy Scouts Wreath Sale.
