Buffalo Grove parks honored for financial reporting

The Buffalo Grove Park District has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

The award honors excellence in the district's comprehensive annual financial report, and is the highest form of recognition in government accounting and financial reporting.

This is the 16th consecutive year that the Buffalo Grove Park District has received this award, officials said.
