Last Fling in full swing on Day 3 in Naperville

Dodging water balloons, hula hooping to the heart's content, jamming out to alternative music and sneaking in some salty or sweet carnival treats kept visitors entertained Sunday during the Last Fling festival in Naperville.

The annual event wraps up Monday with a full day of activities. There are two foot races, the Labor Day parade led by Rick Motta, who founded the Last Fling 50 years ago, a carnival, family fun activities and a lineup of tribute bands playing music from the past several decades.

The annual event is hosted by the Naperville Jaycees as a fundraiser for charitable causes. It runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to wrap up its 50th year.
