Illinois man dies after car falls on chest
ST. ANNE - A northeastern Illinois man has died from injuries suffered when a car he was working on fell on him, Kankakee County officials said.
Rodney Wilhoyt, 53, was underneath a Pontiac Bonneville on Friday when it rolled off its jacks and hit his chest, Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner said Monday. The St. Anne man died of the injuries Saturday at the Riverside Medical Center, the (Kankakee) Daily Journal reported .
The coroner's officer performed an autopsy Saturday and results are pending.
