Letter: Shameful Medicaid policy

It is extremely sad and downright shameful that Illinois nursing home residents on Medicaid receive only $30 a month for personal needs, an amount that has not increased since 1987. Hey, Gov. Pritzker, how about using some of that increased revenue to improve the everyday lives of those people?

And why doesn't one of

our senators or congressmen introduce a bill to raise the minimum allotment and tie annual increases to Social Security?
