19-year-old Indianapolis man dies in police pursuit crash

GREENWOOD, Ind. (AP) - Suburban Indianapolis police say a 19-year-old man was killed when his car crashed as he fled from police during a high-speed chase.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department says Esteban Cuatlacuatl of Indianapolis died Friday night after he was ejected from his car when it hit a telephone pole near Greenwood just south of Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1Jow6dk ) that police said Cuatlacuatl led Bargersville police on a high speed chase from Bargersville before his car crashed near Greenwood after reaching speeds of more than 100 mph.

The police report says the teen's vehicle hit a telephone pole and rolled four times before flipping twice.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Department did not immediately return a phone call seeking additional information on the police chase.
