Gunshot reported during Naperville home invasion

A gunshot was fired during a home invasion Tuesday night in Naperville, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.

Police responded to a multifamily residential development near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Royal St. George Drive after 7:30 p.m.

Authorities remained on scene hours later to investigate what happened, said Police Chief Bob Marshall.

Marshall wouldn't comment on whether police had any suspects or if anything was stolen during the invasion.
