Arrow shot at Aurora police car

Someone shot a steel-tipped arrow at an Aurora squad car over the weekend, police said.

An officer heard the arrow hit his car at about 8:40 p.m. Sunday as he was parked in a church parking lot on the 300 block of east Downer, police said. The officer didn't find anyone in the area who may have shot the arrow, which appeared to come from west of the officer's location.
