Fox Valley Concert Band to perform holiday concert at The Holmstad

The Holmstad, a faith-based, nonprofit continuing care retirement community administered by Covenant Retirement Communities, will welcome back the Fox Valley Concert Band to perform a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The band is comprised of 80 volunteer musicians under the baton of conductor Colin Holman. The band has been a favorite among Fox River Valley music aficionados since it was founded in 1983. The Holmstad is one of the few select venues on the nonprofit, all-volunteer Fox Valley Concert Band's holiday concert schedule.

The band is committed to supporting the community by providing opportunities for qualified local musicians to grow in musical excellence and by exposing area residents to the best in the concert band repertoire.
