Want to help? New opportunity coming to the Northwest suburbs!

The Siamese Cat Rescue Center is an organization whose mission is to help abused, abandoned and unwanted Siamese cats find new loving homes. Founded in 1998 in Virginia, they have helped over 10,000 Siamese over the last 18 years. Now, they are coming home to Illinois. Siamese Rescue is expanding, and hopes to increase the number of both cat adoptions in Illinois, and the number of dedicated volunteers here to help.

How you can adopt. Interested individuals who wish to adopt one of our Siamese must complete an application process. The first step is to visit our website www.va.siameserescue.org and click on the application, and you will be directed how to proceed from there. We pride ourselves on getting to know our applicants in order to make the best possible matches between the cats we foster and the right home for both cat and adopter. If you are interested in adopting, start the process today.

To volunteer. Volunteers are needed throughout Chicago and suburbs, as well as throughout the state of Illinois. We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to fostering, transporting, cat evaluation, adopter screening and so much more. If you love the Siamese breed, can't resist those gorgeous blue eyes, and want to make a real difference to a Siamese who needs you and the family who adopts him, get involved. Training is provided, and we can help you find the opportunity that is right for you. Visit our website www.va.siameserescue.org or call 847-401-1423 and we'll be happy to help you get started.
