Lake County judge appointed to committee

Lake County Associate Judge Donna-Jo Vorderstrasse has been appointed to the 2015 Child Support Advisory Committee for the State of Illinois, the 19th Judicial Circuit announced in a news release. The committee was created to review child support policies and operational topics related to the statewide child support program. It consists of members representing the legislature, state's attorneys, attorney general, clerks of the courts and community-based groups. The committee members are asked to serve a one-year term. Vorderstrasse was appointed associate judge in March 2009.
