Hoffman Estates hosts body compassion workshop

In Celebration of Women's History Month, the Hoffman Estates Department of Health and Human Services is hosting a "Love Your Body" workshop for women in the community from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 28, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road in Hoffman Estates.

Attendees will have the opportunity to think carefully about how they view their bodies, using passages from playwright and author Eve Ensler's "The Good Body" as discussion points.

The workshop will include individual and group activities to encourage attendees to see their bodies in a new light, with compassion and love.
