Four injured in Des Plaines crash

Four people were taken to three area hospitals Wednesday morning after suffering minor injuries when a minivan and a car collided on Wolf Road just north of Jarvis Avenue in Des Plaines.

One person was taken to Resurrection Hospital in Chicago, two to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and one to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Des Plaines fire Battalion Chief Mike Tripicchio said.

The collision occurred between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m., Tripicchio said. He did not know from which vehicles the four injured persons had come.

Des Plaines police were still investigating the collision Wednesday morning and not immediately available for comment.
