Barrington to host open house and blood drive

Barrington will host an open house and blood drive at the Public Safety Building on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Residents will be able to meet firefighters, take a station tour, view rescue vehicles on display, and learn valuable safety information. There will be a special appearance by Sparky the Dog, entertainment by Master Ron, along with free giveaways. Popcorn, donuts and refreshments will be served. A photo ID is required if you donate blood.

The open house runs from 9 a.m. to noon and the blood drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Public Safety Building is located at 400 N. Northwest Hwy.
