11 taken to hospital for carbon monoxide effects
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee fire officials say 11 people were treated at a hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning.
Six adults and five children were transported late Wednesday night from a home where carbon monoxide readings were high. Fire officials say a new furnace that had been installed earlier in the day was faulty, causing a carbon monoxide leak.
Firefighters were called after numerous people in the house began feeling sick.
