Dining events: Treat your sweet at Weber Grill

Weber Grill's sweetest day

Take your sweet to Weber Grill for a Sweetest Day dinner for two Friday through Sunday, Oct. 16-18. Begin with a baby greens and citrus salad. Each person chooses an entree of cedar plank grilled mahi mahi or Parmesan truffle-crusted N.Y. strip; and a dessert to share of red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and strawberry sauce. $65 per couple, not including tax and gratuity. Chili Fest in Chicago

Sample some of the city's best chili at the first Chili Fest beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. Participating restaurants include Lindy's Chili, Kuma's Corner, Dia De Los Tamales, Chicago's Doghouse, Reggies Chicago, and Municipal Bar + Dining Company. Tuscany's sweetest day prix fixe

Tuscany loves love with a three-course prix fixe menu in honor of Sweetest Day on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Tuscany in Wheeling. Start with crabcakes and burrata di stefano appetizer; choose an entree from agnolotti aragosta, macadamia-encrusted Chilean Sea bass and risotto funghi.
