Lake Zurich American Legion now open to public:

Lake Zurich American Legion Post 964 will open to the public on a full-time daily basis for the first time starting Monday, April 6. Bar service will run from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., said Post 964 Commander Richard Johnson. In addition, the post will have light bar food available for purchase. Nonmembers have had access to the post only through hall rentals or special events. Johnson said video gambling machines are expected to arrive soon for the post, which is on Lions Drive next to Lake Zurich village hall.
