Gurnee strategic plan invite

Gurnee officials invite interested community members to participate in a project that will help shape the village's future. Starting this month, the village will begin updating its strategic plan, and it will host two communitywide focus groups to solicit input. The interactive sessions will bring together various stakeholders to discuss ideals and ideas that will be critical in setting priorities for the next three to four years. The sessions will be Friday, Aug. 28, 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 29, 9 a.m. to Noon. Both will be in Meeting Room A at Warren-Newport Public Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Road. Light refreshments will be provided. Participants don't need to do anything to prepare.
