Mundelein Fire Department hosts blood drive

The Mundelein Fire Department and LifeSource will team up to host an "Everyday Heroes Blood Drive" on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at fire station 1, 1000 N. Midlothian Road. Walk-in donations are welcome or reservations can be made in advance at www.lifesource.org or (877) 543-3768. Code MN10. Special raffle prizes to local Mundelein restaurants will be held for all donors. Organizers said the goal of the drive is to provide more than 100 units of blood and to raise awareness of the necessity for donations.
